Test report: successfully add a new remote key to Iveco daily 2017 using Autel IM508 and XP400 Pro.
Couldn't connect via OBD. Done on bench by dump.
Take BCM out - read 95640 with xp400pro and add key via dump.
Used key KD remote multifunction, generated as Ducato Magneti Marelli pcf7946.
BCM is located the left drivers foot. You need to remove one plastic (without screws, only clips) and then remove 6 or 7 screws, which holds BCM. And of course a lot of plugs.

Prepare Lonsdor JLR Smart Key 315MHz/ 433MHz (mentioned above) and the unlocked key previously programmed on current car, confirm they don’t work before testing.
Select IMMO & Remote->Land rover ->Select by vehicle-> Land rover 2015-2018->Program Smart Key->Type 4 (OBD all keys lost)->All smart key lost
Key position [01] generate key – select Lonsdor specific key for Jaguar Land Rover. Put the specific key (to be programmed) into K518 card slot. Tick off “Lonsdor dedicated Jaguar /Land Rover key” and tap “Yes” to go on. Keep the key placed stably, until the 1st key is generated successfully.
After generating the 1st key, press the remote’s unlock button to disarm car alarm state.
Key position [02] generate key – select the unlocked key previously programmed on current car. Put the specific key (to be programmed) into K518 card slot.
Tick off ” The current vehicle has been matched with the unlocked original factory or the aftermarket key ” and tap “Yes” to go on.
Failed to generate, because the key was not placed properly, please adjust the key position, retry to generate working key.
The 2nd key is generated successfully.
Lonsdor K518 Program 2017 Jaguar XFL AKL successfully, please back to the home menu.
Next is to test if the two keys’ remote / smart start function work fine. Nice job!

CG AT-200 is able to read BMW ECU Mevd17.2 on Bench in 3 minutes. Please read this article for the procedure.
F22 with N20 engine, took 2 minutes to remove from the car. Connect to one CG AT-200.
Look at the wire connected with CG AT-200 and N20 engine box.
Connect to one adjustable power supply which can ensure stable voltage.
Open AT200 software, select “BMW” and search “mevd” and then select “Bosch MEVD17.2.9 TC1797_N20”.
Click on “Wiring Diagram” to refer. Click on “Identification” and have the results of chip, serial number, hardware ID…
Click on “Read DFLASH” and save the data successfully.
Click on “Read PFLASH”, CG AT-200 will take 1 minute to complete, please wait and save the data.

I have one 2007 Honda Accord with the PCM has been replaced and the vin number does not match, so I use so here’s what I came up with Autel Maxisys MS908 Pro to rewrite VIN number in step-by-step procedure.
Click on VIN and select “Manual Input”, type in the new vin number. You might have to type it again. Alright, this is the VIN number that I entered say, okay.
It is 2007 Accord, that is actually the vin number that is on the car, not the new vin number that came with the computer because I picked up this computer from the junkyard, the key is being programmed already, that’s all you basically need to do and the car runs fine, but I need to rewrite the vin number. Say yes.
Select “USA”.
Give it some time to initialize the diagnostic system.
Alright, so we are gonna go into diagnostic and select “Control unit”.
Select “Engine-PGM F I.
Please give it some time to establish vehicle communication.
Alright, so here we have ECU information, Read codes, erase codes …everything, basically you need to go into “Special Functions”.
By the way I’m using the Autel MaxiSys Pro.
Select “VIN check”.
This is the VIN number that I entered and it tells you that the entered VIN will be rewritten to the new ECM /PCM, say, okay.
And just for confirmation, you might need to type it again as I said earlier. okay and click on “Yes”.
Just give it a second and it should be done, complete that’s it. Have a good day.
Question: How to virginize the DME or clone it on 2008 BMW 535XI CAS3 model?
Answer: No need any virginize, just read ISN and write to CAS and sync CAS DME done. This is what people do in most case.
Option 1. Autel MaxiIM IM508 + GBOX or Autel MaxiIM IM608: No problem If you have Autel MaxiIM IM508 and also GBOX. These questions are answered in Autel subscriptions. You have to have the gbox to put the msd80/msd81 on BENCH first, this is to read tricore pw. Then note tricore pw and download the flash in BOOT mood this time. After that you can change the DME ISN with active autel sub and using their tools. They have some of the ediabas in the IM508, but they have fully feature encoding with Autel MaxiIM IM608. If you are not flashing a supporting file or the DME you are replacing is the same as original existing. Then you will have to change sop8 eeprom. You can read EEPROM out and change VIN, working hours, possibly vmx/pwrclass (but if i remember right this is located in flash…) If both DME have the same power class, and vmax then you will have adapted the DME partially. The only thing you will be left with is encoding the new VIN. IF ONLY the last 8 of the VIN are different from between, then you are good. IF they are different then you will have to update flash VIN as well with any ediabas setup. IF power class if different you must 0 working hours and change power class with bmw “standard tools”.
Option 2. Yanhua Mini ACDP host plus Module 1 for CAS: No problem Easy way to replace DME for cas3/3+/3++ cars. No soldering. No need to do DME clone. Only reads the donor DME ISN, then write the ISN into the CAS3 via OBD or ICP!
Guide: Read the ISN from the replacement second-hand (used) DME and write this ISN into CAS module by OBD or ICP mode.

However, some people hold the opposite opinion, you can read it for reference: Can’t just write isn to CAS in every case, most you shouldn’t ever change CAS ISN. Issue is down the road when your customer is lost keys again with a issue at dealer. The dealer doesn’t like when you modify something in a way they wouldn’t. And if you change ISN then, if lost keys found, customer upset. Also you are taking a big load of work by having to find exact compatible DME. Trans/Powerclass/Vmax/Vin/ZB da da da da da. To do the job a proper way, is not writing new ISN to CAS. CAS modules REARLY fault when they are virgin and it is the ID of the car and shouldn’t be modified for just a lost key.
ISTA cannot change power class, vmax, or working hours though. ISTA will register a new vin in-series BUT to pass an emissions inspection, you must change in eeprom.. Proof of concept take two MSD81, both same ZB (good luck), change the VIN with ista in one, and compare them in HEX. Or take any certified scan tool and do a VIN read out. Vin read out 1 is OG vin to DME and VIN readout 2 is VIN of CAS

But VVDI Prog so far – best tool in my personal opinion, completely bugless with 9s12. But for XEP100 BMW I use Yanhua Mini ACDP – reads those without soldering which is very time efficient. Very handy in case you do a lot of BMW mileage or keys, or maybe you are not so sure in your soldering skills.
I work on immobilizer area mainly ,and vvdiprog did an awesome job so far (CAS for BMWs,EIS for Mercedes, FRM for BMW,UCH renault,J518 vag ) it paid for itself 10 times or more.

Problem: I tried to do GMC Acadia 2008 online programming via SPS (Service Programming System) with Autel MaxiIM IM608. But IM608 showing this dialog: Service Programming System Solution: It was browser problem. Before this step you have to install java while installing will ask you to go with j2534 or skip. Don’t skip you have to be sure fully installed. You have to use internet explorer don’t use google chrome or normal windows browser. Open explorer in admin mode to be able to update the j2534 wrapper and problem solved. Any step have problem go complete out and start again
FYI: GM SPS Programming is part of autel im608 programmer use. Require to login ACDelco TDS for subscription of Service Programming System. Currently there is a $40 subscription to the “Vehicle Programming Software” which includes a 24 month access to program all modules for a single VIN.
