Compatibility: 100% confirmed to work with Volvo Dice china clone
Computer Requirement:
1. Operating system: Windows 7 Professional 32 bit or 64 bit 2. Internet Explorer: 9 or newer 3. Computer memory: 2G RAM + 4. C: space: must have 40GB 5. Location: software must install on C:// 6. Others: It must be NTFS format
What does VIDA 2015A means?
If VIDA 2014D lists 2015 and 2015A cars.
2015A introduced Drive-E cars.
2014D will not do anything for 2016 cars like the XC90 because they introduced Ethernet as a connection option in the car. You won’t be able to get away with sticking DICE on a 2016 carry over model either that still uses an OBD2 interface. Only subscriptions to VIDA 2015 which is all online will help you.
“VIDA 2015 is 100% internet based, which means you will always have the most current information at your fingertips.”
Should be
“VIDA 2015 is 100% the end of hacks, and might be the end of shadetree Volvo diagnosis, depending on how high we price it.”

1. DICE – Diagnostic Communication Equipment, is a tool that used together with VIDA all-in-one to communicate with the vehicle. Communication makes diagnosis and troubleshooting the vehicle possible, as well as downloading software. 2. DICE has an integrated CARB cable, which is connected to the vehicle’s diagnostic socket. When connecting to the vehicle, DICE is powered as long as the battery is charged. 3. DICE has a folding hook that is designed for hanging the unit from one of the grab handles in the vehicle for example. 4. DICE is equipped with four status LEDs that indicate the status of the software, the USB and Bluetooth communication and the interface to the car. 5. At one end of the unit, there is a DC input where a battery cable or adaptor(12V) can be connected. The adaptor is used when upgrading and troubleshooting the DICE. 6. In the other end of the unit, there is a removable cover that could be removed by turning the screw on the cover.

Discuss: KTM bench, KTMOBD and KTM Flash – definition, difference, vehicle coverage
What is KTM bench:
KTM Bench Boot is the latest ECU programming tool for ECU read and write via Boot mode or on bench.
It features:
What is KTMOBD:
KTMOBD programmer was born for reading chip data, reading and writing data of ECUs and a few types of gearbox. Read/write data by OBD.
What is KTM Flash:
KTMFlash ECU programmer can read the chip data, read & write ECU data. read transmission data etc. at a high speed.
Look here: KTM bench boot vs. KTMOBD vs. KTM Flash
In conclusion:
All programming tools above can be used for ECU read and write, but differs in ECU coverage and r/w method. There is NO LIMITS of the car model and year when using KTM bench to read/write data.
But if you have chips and gearboxes to read and write, you should have a KTM flash. The bad is: disassembling is required. KTM bench doesn’t cover chips and gearboxes and KTM OBD cannot not work good for gerabox r/w.
FYI, you’d better check the ECU/gearbox/chip before your purchase.

This is how to do Nissan ECU reprogramming, incl. the definition and suggestion of diagnostic tools and tips of ecu reprogramming. Enjoy!
What’s the difference of ECU Programming and Reprogramming?
Ecu programming is programming of ecu. It can be new or used ecu. But the word reprogramming is when a key or ecu has been already programmed but the after a while
It stopped working so you need to reprogram again. It normally happens to Mercedes keys. If you program after a while
It stops working so you need to reprogram or program a new one
Ecu programming is programming of either used or new ecu
We can still reprogram ecu if after a while the ecu program fails
(Credits to Carl)
How to determine whether a reprogramming event is needed for a particular vehicle?
Using the service information websites, locate an applicable TSB for your incident. Select NERS J2534 ECU programming, then select the “Reprogramming” tab, Search for TSB to find a TSB that has been published about the incident. The TSB will provide applicable reprogramming instructions.
How to choose a decent auto diagnostic tool to reprogram Nissan?
Nissan ecu programming is easy.
Some can be done by most tools like Launch. But CONSULT is the best.
Programming or reprogramming of control modules can be accomplished by using one of the following methods:
This is where you can buy a decent CONSULT III Plus can be purchased at http://www.obdii365.com/wholesale/nissan-consult-3-plus-nissan-consult-3-nissan-diagnostic-tool.html
How to reprogram an ECU with a Consult 3 Plus:
This is a Nissan Consult 3 Plus confirmed to work for ECU reprogramming
source: http://www.obdii365.com/wholesale/nissan-consult-3-plus-nissan-consult-3-nissan-diagnostic-tool.html
Tips: (might be helpful for you)
you need to edit the file DiagnoticTool.ini to enable reprogramming and also IMMO. Or if you have money to waste buy the reprogramming card and the NATS card. Add the following line to the DiagnosticTool.ini file
[mode]
debug_mode=TRUE debug_mode_vehicle-battery=TRUE [vehicles] tab_index=0
also make sure system management access_mode is set to 1. That should give you full access. That’s not to say that it will work if you do not have the correct calibration file in the reprogramming folder on the C drive.
Good luck.

This is how to decode & cut a key and program or add a new key to Nissan Altima year 2006.
If you have all remotes available:
Here, you must have all remotes on hand when performing this procedure. Any remotes not used during this procedure will become inactive.
If you have a decent key only or lose all keys:
You need:
a decent auto programming tool for the car: Nissan Consult 3 or Consult 3 plus
a security immobilizer card used to make keys to Nissan
a good automatic key cutter, such as SEC-E9 key cutting machine
and good new keys/remotes to add
The steps:
read pin – program key – decode and cut keys
in detail…
Step 1: NSPC001 reads pin codes
Connect the code reader into the OBD diagnostic socket
Read the 5-digit BCM code and transfer it to 4-digit pin code
