How to solve if Autel IM608 asks for a 24-digit security verification code for GM full-size new system vehicles with CAN FD protocol?
They have to run a code to get you into programming and the 12 min wait. But it can be done!
Check the Instructions below. In July 2021, it was reported that 24-digit security verification code calculation service of GM vehicles 2020-2021 CANFD protocol was not responded in time, so Autel team blocked the menu. But we have been receiving strong request to open this menu again from different Autel MaxiIM IM508/IM608 dealers/customers, so the company decides to open the menu again. In this situation, we need aftersales team to help calculate the 24-digit security verification code and send it to users when user perform this function. The calculation tool can only be placed in Autel China due to some concerns, needs to remotely control Autel China server to calculate this code via Teamviewer.
